Chapter Twenty is PG-13 absolutely and you may not want to read the end of it at work. ;)
Okay, boy I learned three things from this update. :D
1. Now I remember why my updates are generally short. Much, much more manageable. But, this time the writer won out over the illustrator. There's just too much emotion in this update to break it up without losing the real power of the update.
2. I know I've mentioned this somewhere before, but I'll do it again because I've noticed a lot of new visitors since I've joined the SWA. I started writing with an eye toward selling romantic suspense to Silhouette or Harlequin. With that in mind, I became very adept at writing in the series romance genre. Lachesis' Tales are a direct result of that type of writing. In fact, OoT, OoT and whatever else I do here are all taken from ideas I had at the time. So, remember this is a romance, writen very true to that specific genre. :)
3. I'm going to fire my continuity person. I had to go back and redo a shot after I had the whole thing uploaded because she forgot to put the boxes back on the coffee table. :D
Anyway, enjoy.
Thank you all for reading.
Take care,
Lachesis

A Bonus!!
I've received so many kind comments on Out of Touch, Out of Time, I wanted to do something. So, to say Thank You, I've done an extra OoT update this week.
And, I'm so excited to see what you all think about it, I couldn't wait until Sunday. But to be fair, Sunday there'll be the next installment, so you don't even have to wait two weeks to see what happens next.
Anyway, thank you all so much for taking time to read, and I'm so glad you're enjoying it.
Take care,
Lachesis

C Set Added to Pose Box
I've added C Set to Lay, Stand and Couples.
You'll notice in the couples Eharael is now standing on a black OMSP. Thank you Phoenix for pointing out that using SilentLucidity's OMSP stops the snapping problem with the couples.

Pose Box Update
Hey, I've added D Set (BuyMode name once again) and Posing Box by minttsang @ simcave - there is no name listed at all for this box in the BuyMode catalog. It's blank where the name should be and says 10 Pose in the description. :)
A couple of things I should mention I've discovered in putting together the couples poses.
1. stretchskeleton has to be used frequently to adjust heights to make the poses fit and look right. Many times one has to be made taller and the other shorter.
2. When using the magic tray, if you're using one for each Sim - that's not always necessary, but usually is - the Sim needs to be facing the direction of the arrow on the tray, and one slides into place better than the other. I've found that if I choose the wrong tray to slide, the Sim will just snap out of place. It's hard to say which one should be slid into place, I found it to be trial and error. If there's a method, please let me know.
Take care,
Lachesis

Today's Update
There are a few items today. First, Sea of Moons has been updated, The Siren finally sends them in the proper direction.
Second, the members of the Sims2 Writers Alliance have generously allowed me to join their family. The link to the SWA is in the sidebar; and by next week, I'll have links to all their Sims2 stories up as well. Please be sure to check them out as they're a very talented group of storytellers. Thank you all, for letting me join. :D
Lastly, the pose box project is still on, even though I've been a couple of days getting it updated. Don't expect anything before later in the week, however, unless something changes. I'm trying to get caught up on my reading list, as well as put together the next Angels' Cloud update.

Box by Crimsyn Club
This one I was really curious about. I'm a big fan of aikea-guinea so I actually put it ahead of some others. I really like the size of the box. The one I used had a couple of glitches in the pose choices, but otherwise worked really well. Anyway, they're in Sit and Lay, again at the bottom.
And, the pose box that says "Black & Pink Cat Creature (No Real Name)" is so named because the buy mode name is "Paul's Reaction Test" (or whatever that is). Obviously the creator forgot to change the name, so I'm posting the link to the box here so you know which box it is. It's by Netshow at Sim Cave.
Take care,
Lachesis

Two More
Hope everybody doesn't mind all these posts, but I'd rather put the poses up as I finish them. Easier for me, helps me keep things straight, and if you're using them, then more options for you.
B Set and Rose pose box v1.1 were added at the bottom of the catalogs.
A couple of things, if anyone notices that I've mislabeled a picture with it's caption, please let me know, and I'll correct it. Also, I know there are a couple of typo's like "shoot shelf" :D, I do intend to fix them when I'm finished, but let me know about them, too, as we all know how easy it is to miss a typo. I was recently looking for about the 100th time at the beginning of Guardian's Key and I noticed for the very first time that I'd typed "heir" instead of "their". I've read that beginning through countless times and finally saw it.
Just so you know, I use the name in BuyMode catalog, so B Set may not be what the pose box was called when you downloaded it, but it's what it's called in BuyMode. Also, you'll notice that the picture files are small. There's two reasons for that; 1. I don't want to eat up all my space at Picasa with them as it's limited and I don't want to eat up all the space your hard drive with them. Save that so your story pictures can be nice. :)
Last, remember Goodbye_sun has the list of Pose Boxes for downloading at Sim Haven and she's also put a list at Garden of Shadows (along with just about anything else you're ever going to need to do storytelling). Even I don't have a lot of the ones listed at Garden of Shadows at this time, but I'll probably pick up what I don't have just to make these catalogs complete, I can be so anal at times. :D
Take care,
Lachesis

Pose Box Update
Hi,
I've added PoseBox v1.4 by catdogll, pyu pose box v1.2 and Rose pose v1.0. They can be found at the bottom of the albums for Couples, Sit, Stand and Weapon. pyu's Back Bend and catdogll's skateboard poses can be found in Stand simply because I didn't want to make a new album.
I really do hope you find these help take the tedious part out of Sims storytelling and gives you more time to do the fun part - telling the story.
Take care,
Lachesis

Pose Box Catalog
Important Notice:
The Catalog has been reorganized to break the poses down into smaller, more manageable groups.
The Posebox Catalog can now be found here. :)
Thank You for all your help!! It's made all the difference in making this catalog what it is. :D
Goodbye_sun
Phoenix
Meralgia
S.B. & Gayl
Muzegoddess
(12/4/09 - Thank you S.B. and Gayl!)
(5/21/09 - A new catalog was added to take care of all those odds and ends that just do not belong in the other catalogs: Miscellaneous.
Next I want to extend my thanks to:
Synaptic Sims Lair for graciously allowing us to use her screen captures instead of having to take our own. Thank you and great work! For all your super hero and other great cc visit her site.
Also, I want to thank Meralgia for volunteering to help with the pose boxes. Thank you so much (last time, I promise ;D))
4/13/09 - I just noticed a question at the pose box picture gallery and thought I'd post my answer here as well.
I don't actually have the catalogs for download, but if you have a PC just right mouse click on the picture and click save image as. On a Mac with a one button mouse Control Click Save Image As. Or on both Mac and PC just grab the image and drag it to your desktop. If you create folders on your desktop you can also drag or save the images to it.)
(4/11/09 - Since I originally posted this link, the pose box project has grown by leaps and bounds and I see many, many hits to this page. I hope people are finding it as useful as I do.
A few additions are:
Face Overlays by Goodbye_sun at Sim Haven - an extremely useful and very well-done catalog of how face overlays work in conjunction with each other - and her list of useful links at Garden of Shadows. Everything you'll ever need, including links for the pose boxes themselves, to put together a quality Sims2 story.
You know, after I've had a few people comment on my pose box catalog project I realized that since I'm doing it I should share it. After all, I'm not the only one who could use it. So, I'm posting links to the six different catalogs. Please feel free to download them if you can use them.
The real credit for these goes to the creators who have spent the time putting these boxes together. Thank you for making Sims storytelling easier.
Goodbye-sun as well as others have also posted pictures using the pose boxes at Live Journal, and if you want to see the poses used in other ways as well, hop on over to Live Journal.
Remember, this started as a project to help me, so it's not perfect; and it took me some time to figure out what worked best for me, so some of the pictures and captions are not as clear as others. It was a learning experience for me, and I learned along the way. I've also discovered a couple of typos. :D

OoT, OoT is Going to be Late
Hi Everybody,
I'm sorry to say OoT, OoT is going to be late. The reason being my own sense of having to feel organized.
Recently, I wanted to put together the next part of my Steampunk simfic50 story. I knew exactly what picture I wanted, but after spending the better part of an hour going through the pose boxes (yes I even went online to find the box and the picture) I was ready to pull my hair out. I found the picture online, but there wasn't a picture of the box itself, and the name online for the box was not the same name as listed in the catalog. See where I'm going, and just my luck, it was the last box I tried.
This is the pose, I knew it was perfect, I didn't want to settle for anything else, damnit.
So, I've started my own picture catalog. Meet Eharael and Arura Moonwind:
They're my models for this project. I'm photographing every pose with every box. Taking them to Photoshop and putting the name of the box and the name of the pose on each. Then, I'm sorting them into individual folders called: Sit, Stand, Lie, Kneel, Weapons and Couples. As I take the pictures, I'm learning exactly what's available (for me it's like writing something down, once written, I remember it better) and I'm getting ideas along the way.
It's long and tedious, but actually I like it, too, and as I plan on doing this for sometime to come using the Sims 2 despite the fact I'll be getting Sims 3 to use only as a play neighborhood, I think it's a very valuable step for me right now.
So, I'm sorry to delay on OoT, OoT just as it's picking up, but I really think all my stories are going to benefit from this brief pause in updating them.
Once more, I want to thank everyone for taking time to read, comment and follow my stories. You're appreciated beyond words.
Take care,
Lachesis

Why Did I Choose Forests?!
Welcome March! Hurray spring starts this month!
Okay, I've decided as of today that photographing among a ton of trees is insane. Just once, I'd love to grab something besides a tree! Especially since I like to use the willows because they have a big trunk, cover a lot of area. Yeow! Oh well, I am the one who came up with the Forests of Acantha. :D
New character today in SoM The Undesirable Stop.
A picture I loved, but just could not make work. :(
And something that just didn't work quite the way I intended. :p
Thank you everyone for reading!
Take care,
